We are incredibly proud of our students, teachers, and staff at Junction Hill School! On this year’s Annual Performance Report (APR), we ranked at the very top in our area and scored above the state average in nearly every category on statewide testing.
These accomplishments are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and collaboration of everyone in our school community. Thank you to our amazing students, supportive families, and dedicated educators for making this possible. Together, we continue to strive for excellence while fostering a love of learning.
Great things are happening at Junction Hill, and we couldn’t be prouder!
December 13th, Junction Hill School had the honor of hosting a special breakfast for our area law enforcement officers. Representatives from the Highway Patrol, West Plains PD, the Conservation Department, and the Howell County Sheriff’s Department joined us for a hearty meal of biscuits and gravy and cinnamon rolls.
Our students were thrilled to see and interact with so many officers—they were definitely impressed! It was a wonderful way to show our appreciation for their service and to spread a little Christmas cheer early this season.
Thank you to all the officers who joined us and to everyone who made this event a success. We’re grateful for your dedication to keeping our community safe!
Attention: The assembly with K.C. Wolf (initially scheduled for Tuesday Oct 15th) will be postponed and rescheduled due to a family illness of the speaker.
Congratulations Hornet runners who received medals in today's Howell Valley Cross Country Meet.

Junction HIll has been so blessed with Mr. Dame as our music teacher for the last eight years. The love and passion he has for kids and music shows in his dedication in working with so many students over his 50 plus years of teaching music. Every time we have watched his students perform it is simply amazing to watch how well the kids sound as they sing. Mr. Dame has dedicated his career to sharing his love of music to more students than we can count. Mr. Dame's career in music is one full of many achievements and accolades. Mr. Dame taught Music at Willow Springs until he retired several years ago. We were so fortunate to be able to have him here in retirement working with our students providing first class instruction in music. We will dearly miss Mr. Dame as he steps back to retire once again.
The boil order affecting Junction Hill School has been lifted.
