Ms. Blankenship's 7th grade science classes have been learning about weather and were given the task to create a house to withstand a hurricane. Students were given craft sticks, playdough, construction paper, and tape to design and create a house that could withstand a hurricane. After the designs were constructed we tested them by simulating a hurricane in the classroom with wind (fan) and water.
